What is the difference between the Webinar and the "Live" (hotel) courses?
Webinars are the SAME course as my hotel/school-based courses. The contact hours are the same. I use exactly the same materials, slides, etc.

You will be mailed the Review Course Workbook. It is designed to be used with her review course. It is not the same book as the Springer Publishing, NY books (see home page).
Mandatory: you need the 2nd edition of the Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner Intensive Certification Review Guide (2nd edition) before starting the course. It is available at Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, Ebay, etc.

All webinars are given live (it is not pre-recorded). It is the same as attending a live course - except it is done online. It is important that you are logged in at the indicated time. IT is not pre-recorded. If you missed a day, then you can make it up in the next webinar.
How do I join a class?
You will be sent an email with a link (Gotowebinar) EACH evening before each class. Click on the link and log in. It is that simple.
Computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone with speakers or headphones with good reliable internet access. Webcams are optional. It is best if ALL students use headphones or ear buds (reduces feedback and static).
This is the company that hosts our webinars. It is our virtual classroom. A link is emailed to each student the evening before each class. All you have to do is click it - it is that simple.
Review course study materials (our textbook with the non-clinical content and sample exams) are mailed to you about one week before the course in a waterproof white envelope. You will also receive by email electronic documents (PDFs) and links to websites that contain material that is helpful for your review. We use FedEx Ground (we pay postage). For FedEx Air, there is an extra charge. The book is not for sale (only for review course students).

1. Are you an approved continuing education provider?
Yes, we are approved by the Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Arkansas State Boards of Nursing and with CEBroker as a continuing education provider for nurses.
2. Can I used these contact hours for my AANPCP continuing education requirement for my "areas of weakness"?
Yes, you can use the contact hours from this review course to fulfill the continuing education requirement. If you fail, you can retake the review course and earn continuing education credit.
3. When do I receive the Certificate of Completion?
For live review courses, you will receive it on the last day of the course. For webinar students, we will mail your certificate within 7 to 10 business days. If you need the certificate sooner, please inform our staff on the site.
4. For webinar students, what is the shipping fee for the course materials?
There is none. We pay the shipping cost for FedEx Ground shipping. If you enroll late and want expedited shipping, you will be charged the extra cost.

Should I take two separate review courses?
No matter which review course you take, I advise that you use 2 different review course sources. Students tell me that they buy CDs (one source) and take my review course (second source).
